Tur Budaya 2019!

🌴Bali We Go!!🌴

In 17th March 2019, SMA Negeri 3 Bandung held a yearly event called Tur Budaya. We went to Bali in this event. We gathered at Husein Sastranegara Airport. My class was in 1st batch so we gathered there at 7 o'clock even tho our plane board at 10 o'clock. After waiting there, finally our plane took off. We arrived at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport at about 12 p.m. After our arrival we then went to our bus and had lunch there.

Our first destination of that day was Tanah Lot. It was a long way to go there. But since it was our first day and our first destination so we were all excited. We were accompanied by Mbok Komang as our tour guide. She was fun and kind. She talked about almost everything about Bali on the way to our destination. After that long journey lol, we finally arrived at Tanah Lot. We had a walk around the street there. They have a lot of unique shops and unique things to sell. Then we went to the beach. It was beautiful. We took a picture, also kinda played with the waves. After having enough joy we went back to the street and bought some drink. We went back to the bus.

Our next destination was Jimbaran Beach. This isn't your typical beach. You can have dinner there. And that was what we did. We went there to watch sunset and also had dinner there. The meal was amazing. You got a seafood platter with an absolute taste. But unfortunately it was raining. Hard. It was disappointing but still I got an amazing meal so whatever. I was so wet because of the rain and trust me, it was so cold. After having dinner we went to our hotel. It was Quest Hotel. The hotel was so comfy. After I took a bath, we had a long conversation and stayed up late. Then I slept preparing myself for tomorrow.

The next day after having our morning routine, we ate breakfast at the hotel. Not so good to be honest what we needed food! We then went to Tanjung Benoa. It is a beach where you can do water sport or even visiting Turtle Island. I have been there before so I decided not to go to Turtle Island again. I decided to do some water sport. We played what they called flying fish. Trust me we did fly. It was so fun. We also took some picture there. After all exhausted we ate lunch.

After having lunch we then went to Pandawa Beach. This beach is gorgeous. There are a lot of shop too. You can play canoe here but I decided not to. At Pandawa I just played with the waves and took some picture. The water were surprisingly light blue colored. After having enough fun, we went back to bus.

The next destination was Garuda Wisnu Kencana. No kidding the architecture was absolutely amazing. They have like 3 statues. 3 seriously giant statues. We had a whole student picture. I also took picture with student council. We rented bicycle there. It was so fun. I almost forgot how it feels to ride a bicycle until then. It was cheap in price but rich in joy. We weren't satisfied yet but the time was over. So we went back to bus to go to Devdan Show.

We arrived at Devdan Show. We waited abotut 20-30 minutes to get in. It was on theater. There were lot of tourist there. The show was about Indonesia's culture. I wont talk anymore further about the show because it will be a spoiler to you guys. But something that I will say is that it was priceless. After the show ended, we went back to the hotel and rest. Actually we stayed up late lol.

The next day, after the same morning routine and breakfast, we went to Tirta Empul. This is one of the Bali Temple. They said that this temple has a holy water. We needed to wear a traditional cloth to go in there. For girls also needed to tie their hair. We went in. We just had a look and took a picture. That place was so aesthetic. We also accidentally watch their traditional ceremony. We even took picture with netizens there. Then me and some of my friends went shopping for our family back in Bandung.

After that we went to a traditional village called Panglipuran. Before heading to Panglipuran, we went to Kintamani to have lunch. This was the best lunch we had when we were in Bali. It was all you can eat restaurant. After having lunch we headed to Panglipuran. Sadly, it was pouring hard again. But our adventurous spirit got us crazy. We went in with umbrella. It was fun walking in pouring rain. We even snapped some picture there. The village was so beautiful. I was I can go there again but with sunshine of course.

After having a wet-fun day, we went back to hotel to prepare ourselves. For what? For a grand night! It was a gathering night for the students at the Nirmala Hotel's Ballroom. I was one of the committee, My job was being a stage manager. This gathering night had a theme about Bohemian. The night called : La Boheme. It was me who chose the name! The gathering was fun. We watched some performance and also playing game. It was fun! That night was unforgettable. We went back to hotel. This night we stayed up late until 3 a.m.

The next day was our last day at Bali. We did the same morning routine then we headed to Kuta Beach. Because we were kinda sick of beach, we just took a slight look then went on a walk. We went to Deus store to buy some and went to some mall, Beachwalk. We ate yogurt because it was hot there. After that, we went to Krisna to buy some souvenir for our friends and family in Bandung. The next destination was Bedugul. This is one of my favorite place because the view was amazing. We took a lot of photos there. It was fun.

After that we went back home. We went to the harbor to ship to Java Island. It was a long night. The next morning we stopped by the restaurant to take a bath and also breakfast. Then we went on the long journey again. We stopped again in Madura, and had lunch. Then we went to the Train Station. We waited long enough then finally got on the train. Another long journey we had. But this time it was fun because we played in the train. Also me and my gal wore sheets mask at night. It was fun.

Finally in the morning we arrived in Bandung and went back home. I really enjoy the moment. It was so unforgettable and hopefully we can go there again. Thanks, Turbud2019!
